The brush has stopped rotating on my Powered Carpet Shampooer. What do I do?
Press the RESET button on the side of the unit. This will reset the operation of the brush, and allow it to start rotating again.
I seem to be using shampoo very quickly. Why is this?
The carpet shampooer trigger releases the shampoo into the carpet, whilst the brush agitates it into the pile. If the trigger is depressed whilst pulling the Powered Carpet Shampooer backwards, it will vacuum the shampoo straight into the waste chamber without agitating it into the carpet pile.
The stains on my carpet are still visible, what do I do?
Your carpet may need another pass with the powered carpet shampooer. Refer to your carpet shampoo provider to see if alternative concentrate levels are suggested. You may also need to spot clean your carpet using a high concentrate of carpet shampoo and the handheld wet and dry vac component.
Can I use cold water in my Powered Carpet Shampooer?
Yes, but it may be less effective than using warm water. Refer to your carpet shampoo provider to see if an alternative water temperature is suggested.
Can I use boiling water with my Powered Carpet Shampooer?
Boiling water is not recommended, as it may damage the Powered Carpet Shampooer, remove the colour from your carpet, or cause your carpet to shrink.
